About Interviews

Skill Set The required skills for candidates attending OBIEE Interviews are a thorough knowledge on the Admin Tool (RPD), Reports and Dashboards. Apart from this the candidates will also be tested on Dimensional modeling, SQL and Informatica. Knowledge about OBIA, DAC and PL/SQL is an Add on.

This Blog This blogs mainly contains Interview Questions on OBIEE, Informatica, DAC, SQL and Dimensional Modeling. The Questions in my blog are classified as Standard and Tough. The answers for all the questions are given in the subsequent sections.

Standard The questions classified as Standard are based on General requirements.

Tough The questions placed under Tough section are either based on complex requirements or specific requirements.

Types of Interviews

HR Interview

HR Interview focuses on the fitment of an employee in an organisation for a Job position. The factors which are taken into consideration are the total experience, relevant experience, current salary, expected salary, reasons for leaving the previous organisations, tenure of stay in previous organisations, current role, expected role, education etc.

Technical Interview

Technical Interview focuses on the knowledge, problem solving ability, creativity and also the work experience in the relevant field. The skills which are mainly tested are OBIEE and OBIA. There can be questions on Dimensional Modeling, Informatica, DAC, SQL and PL/SQL depending upon the candidate's experience.

Managerial Interview

Managerial Interview focuses on the technical expertise, work experience, fitment in a project for a given role, communication skills, leadership skills, attitude and achievements.
